pre-made covers FAQ’s

Got a naked book?

Congratulations on your new book!

Consider this a high-five on a job well done.

So, let’s get all your hard work dressed-up accordingly to go out and do you proud in the world.

We’re honoured (👈 while writing in Australian English on this site) that you’re even considering this cover for YOUR story, but we need to do a bit of general housekeeping before proceeding…

It’s not that painful, we promise.

Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions:

When buying an E-book cover:

The price advertised on the website is for EBOOK ONLY in $USD.

What are the sizes for E-book covers?

The e-book cover art will be supplied at 1600 pixels wide by 2500 pixels, RGB, JPG in 300 dpi.

This is within the specifications for Amazon’s Kindle, making your cover suitable for other major online retailers like Kobo, Google books, etc…

Your E-book cover file will be supplied to you in JPG format to allow for ease of uploading to the online bookstore of your choice.

Print covers

Come in the standard 6×9” commercial sized print cover.

If requested, extra sizes can be changed for an additional cost.

If you have a completed book and know the number of pages for printing, (another congratulations!) you can create a cover template via Kindle Direct Publishing or Ingram Spark. It’s very easily done, using the links below:

Ingramspark Template Cover Generator HERE

Kindle Template Cover Generator HERE

Then all you have to do is choose your desired size, paper, and with your ‘back of book’ blurb and the template send it all to me to start on your paperback.

Your Print Cover will arrive in a PDF/PNG format for ease of uploading to your online bookstore of choice.

Please note: THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN COVER DESIGNS SEEN ON THE SCREEN COMPARED TO THE PRINTED VERSION. Most book publishers and printers produce books using the CMYK colour model (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black). The digital designs are created using the RGB colour palette. The differences are minimal to the reader, and we’ve only put this here as a courtesy to you.

You want to buy a cover, but haven’t decided on the book title yet?

Don’t sweat it. If you don’t have a title yet, you can buy the cover now for inspiration (like many have done so in the past), just send us the info & copy of your paid receipt to change it for you.

Be sure to secure your cover of choice by purchasing it today, so we don’t sell it on you.

When will you get your cover?

Please allow a minimum of 72 hours for contact on weekdays. Our work-life balance is demanding that we try to take some time away from the PC on weekends, but we will endeavour to get back to you ASAP. Of course, the more edits you request the longer it will take.

What about creating Social Media Images to promote your cover?

Having promotional material to show off your hard work is paramount! Especially the all-important cover reveal.

We can create a 3D book cover for you to use to create your own promotions. Or, we can create relevant promotional materials using your cover in Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and Instagram sized images.

Please be sure to ask for a quote.
